Bob learned to play on the accordion in grade school. It was a popular musical instrument in the 1970s. Bob’s grandparents started Bob on piano.
Bob took that private lesson experience from Mr. Zilko in North Olmstead, Ohio to a new level by learning to play the Kimball entertainer organ with two keyboards and two octaves of pedals for the bass in the 1970s.
Bob continued with organ lessons at a piano and organ store on Montgomery Road called Barnett Music in the 1970s. There Bob learned from a blind organ teacher named Mr. Carl Johnson. Mr. Johnson was the best teacher by giving the inspiration to apply the chords to the piano using letters to symbolize specific finger chord placement while learning to play the right hand and foot pedals.
Bob went onto college and became a professional student for the next decade. Bob wanted to learn advanced computer courses and business to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati. Bob also wanted to work full time, part time, evenings, and even through the night with only a couple of hours of sleep and made Deans List.
Bob managed to balance work, school, and yes, a certification program from the International Graphoanalysis Society, Chicago, Illinois. Graphoanalysis is the scientific study of the individual strokes of handwriting to determine the character and personality of a writer. Bob was certified at this in 1989. Graduated from U.C. In June 1991. Bob went to the Perkins School of Piano Tuning and Technology in January 1992, Elyria, Ohio after discussing the piano market knowing Baldwin Piano and Organ Company was in Cincinnati since the 1860s, and Kimball in Jasper, Indiana, the piano market peaked in 1977-1979; Aunt tuned 45 years.
